PERMALIGHT® Anti-Slip Tape & Polyester Tape Differences

PERMALIGHT® Anti-Slip Tape & Polyester Tape Differences

We often get questions about our PERMALIGHT® Anti-Slip Tape and PERMALIGHT® Polyester Tape. From afar they look pretty similar, plus they’re both tapes that glow-in-the-dark. What’s the difference?

The anti-slip tape is much thicker and has a bubbly textured surface. It is building code compliant only for floor marking use.

The polyester tape is a thinner, smooth-surface tape. It is building-code compliant for marking handrails, door frames, door push bars, and wall demarcation. It cannot be used on the floor at all.
